Matt Barry

VP - Investments

Matt Barry joined ACX in September 2026 as VP – Investments. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing acquisitions across the US and supporting the firm’s capital formation efforts.

Prior to joining ACX, Matt spent nearly a decade in commercial real estate investment across Australia, most recently in the Capital Transactions team at Cromwell Property Group, an Australian REIT and investment manager with approximately USD $8.4 billion AUM at peak. In this role he was responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and investment management. Before Cromwell, Matt worked in JLL’s Australian Capital Markets team, advising institutional clients on the sale and acquisition of commercial real estate with a focus on retail and office sectors.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Management (Real Estate & Development) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Queensland, and completed an exchange semester at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina.
